Inspiration | An “Essential Oil” Kind of Poem

This is a poem that was sent to me by Susan Henry, who quite often finds a nugget and shares it with her "I Love Healthy Chocolate" team (my team, Chics & Chocolate is part of her team.) The poem was written by Max Ehrmann in the late 1920s. For me, it sums up the "it’s so me" philosophy that I’m trying to live by, and attempting to share with you. I listen to Fix You by Cold Play (official version) almost once a day. Why? It resonates with my heart, and I think that’s what I need to think about. Absolutely love it! The video I’m featuring though is an amazing "collage" with my favorite TV Show, House MD and this song. Wow! A Win-Win for me.

And one more thing – check out the linked videos after Fix It is finished. The music on House is awesome.

I had the awesome privilege of living on the Big Island of Hawaii for over ten years. My kids were raised there and none of us will ever forget the beautiful memories we have there. From time to time, I’ll add more of my favorite memories about Hawaii on this page.

I will always embrace the "Aloha Spirit" and "Hang Loose" lifestyle that living in Hawaii taught me.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I’ve been blessed to have a "twin", who just happens to be my daughter, Andrea. It’s quite surreal to have someone that looks like you, thinks like you, is SO like you; in other words, So Me!

But even though I’m saying this about her, I have to say that there isn’t anything in my life more satisfying than knowing that all my kids are absolutely the best – they’re going to make it in this world on their own – emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally. They all make me so happy!

For most of us, we were introduced to Kermit, the Frog’s version of The Rainbow Connection when we were raising our kids. Singing along with Kermit was just something we did, right? So Me Stuff

Many times I find that I have an unusual ability (intuition) to predict the next big thing. And sometimes, the next big thing becomes one of my favorite things - things I use, or follow, or think about during my day to day routine.

From an early age I researched and studied the unusual, For instance, I practiced alternative therapies long before Dr. Weil or Dr. Perricone were household names. I can hear just a couple of notes to a new song and I can tell whether it will be a hit. Also, I can see the "it" factor in a star usually before most people have heard about them. Lastly, I study extensively cyclical history, and that helps to pre historical cycles, too, which help me to understand whether or not the next big thing will be a lasting trend or a passing fad.

What makes the It’s So Me Tv review site so different – so "it’s so me" – is this: I am a minimalist, and that means I don’t like clutter. So I won’t make this an exhaustive list of anything. It really will be devoted to just a few of My Favorite Things, and you’re going to get the authentic voice (the insider’s view) of who, what and where is important to me.

I also decided to place My Favorite Blogs, My Favorite Music & Channels here, along with my two personal blogs – Dreaming Song and BlogCritics.

My hope is that you’ll visit me often (remember, you can bookmark and share it) and also please know that your comments are important to me.
